The Community Care Challenge is a matching program made possible through the generosity of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Baptist Health, Coggin Automotive Group, Haskell, and Regency Centers. Thanks to their investment, your gift to United Way may be eligible to be increased through the Community Care Challenge.

The Community Care Challenge gives you an opportunity to raise your level of giving to the Silver level of the Leadership Circle by means of a step-up program. If you are a current Silver or Gold Leadership donor you may increase your gift to reach new levels of support through this matching gifts plan. New corporate gifts will also be matched through the Challenge. To learn how you can participate please see the details below.
Leadership Giving
  • Donors pledge a first time or increased gift of at least $650 and the Community Care Challenge matches the difference of their gift, qualifying them at the Silver level ($1,000) of the Leadership Circle.
  • Donors who participated in the 2006 Community Care Challenge at the $650 level and increase their gift to a minimum $825 in the 2007 Campaign will receive a match, continuing their recognition at the Silver level of the Leadership Circle. The following year, the donor would make a gift of $1,000 on his/her own.
  • Current Leadership Circle donors at the Silver level ($1,000 - $2,499) and Gold level ($2,500 - $4,999) who increase their previous personal gift will receive a match in the amount of their increase from the Community Care Challenge. The donors will be recognized in the Leadership Circle at the level comprised of their personal gift and the match.
Corporate Giving
Corporations and businesses that make a first time corporate gift to the 2007 Campaign will receive a match through the Challenge in the amount of their new gift.
We hope you will consider taking advantage of this opportunity to maximize your investment in your community.
